Narrative:
On feb/thu/04, I was assigned to aircraft X for a #1 EFIS symbol generator problem. I used the parts catalog and drew out the wrong computer from stores and installed it on the aircraft. After the aircraft had gone, on further research, I found I had installed the wrong computer -- generator XXXX and then found it needed generator YYYY.

Narrative: ON FEB/THU/04, I WAS ASSIGNED TO ACFT X FOR A #1 EFIS SYMBOL GENERATOR PROB. I USED THE PARTS CATALOG AND DREW OUT THE WRONG COMPUTER FROM STORES AND INSTALLED IT ON THE ACFT.
