Narrative:

Prior to landing, captain made announcement that we had lost hydraulics in right side. This controled doors that close wheel well for landing gear. (Great announcements -- no one scared.) would see doors fall open as plane slowed, and sparks would result. Emergency trucks there on runway, but nothing, just precautionary. Landed without incident. Smelled a little smoke, heard a little grinding, and slight hesitation when door dragged, but a non issue. It took about 20-30 mins for ground crew to secure doors up off runway once stopped to proceed to gate, but that was it. Not much damage to doors.
