Narrative:

I landed on runway 33L at bwi airport. I turned off on taxiway H, contacted ground who said 'taxi to gate.' I elected to take taxiway a to gate. Ground controller asked me to stop, saying that that taxiway was unavailable to widebody transport aircraft, and asked if I could perform a 180 degree turn. I was unable. I then looked at all my available data, which included all NOTAMS, and a review of the arrival ATIS and the airport diagram, and could find nothing. I asked ground control for a reference on the closure, since looking outside I could see no obstructions and it was day time. Ground controller, after several mins, got back to me telling me it was ok to taxi to the gate on that taxiway.
