Narrative:

Location: dfw runway 18L, takeoff. There were several aircraft waiting for closeout so we were moved up in line for takeoff at runway 18L. We were cleared into position and hold, and then as we rolled onto the runway, we were cleared for takeoff. As we began the takeoff, the first officer and I set the power and as we both looked downfield, we saw a crj taxi onto the runway. But instead of just crossing the runway, he turned south on the runway between txwys B and a. With another aircraft on the runway, we aborted the takeoff at a speed of about 60-65 KTS. We reported to the tower we had aborted due to a runway incursion downfield. When he realized the problem, he took corrective action and we were taxied back to the runway and completed our flight uneventfully.
