Narrative:
Near miss over part of grand canyon. I was at 17500 ft MSL. My up to date garmin 430 indicated special use airspace went up to 14000 ft, so I thought I was clear. I was buzzed by a king air that looked like a government plane. I suspected problem so checked map which said 18000 ft top of special use airspace. Commercial provider -- garmin was apparently in error.
