Narrative:

I started engine of a yak-52TW at the gas pumps on the ramp of the crete municipal airport (cek). As I started easing away from the gas pumps I taxied forward into a tug parked close to the pumps, shattering the wood 3-BLADE composite propeller, but not stopping the engine or doing other damage to the aircraft. This is a tailwheel aircraft with a large (400 hp) radial engine with no forward visibility and I had forgotten about the tug's proximity. I was preoccupied with monitoring engine gauges as the engine warmed and had not yet begun s-turning that close to the gas pumps. The tug just slipped my mind. No damage was done to the tug.
