Narrative:

Flight departed, blocks at ZZZ at XA16 UTC after a maintenance delay for a non-related item. After engine start and prior to taxi, we received an ACARS message from maintenance controller regarding concern of the aft galley deferral. According to information available to the flight crew, the deferral was properly done. Information relayed to us regarding the concern was that further troubleshooting had been done, and that information which was not available to the flight crew, should have resulted in more maintenance action. Any item operating from this same electrical source should have been isolated for electrical fault protection.
