Narrative:

We needed about 40-50 degrees left off course, turn to avoid strong cumulus buildups in a solid ew line. High degree of frequency congestion with many acrs deviating for WX. Abq had us squawk 7700 as we would penetrate a MOA north of luke AFB. We were not, nor did we declare an emergency. After verification, we squawked 7700 for 5-10 mins until clear of WX and rejoined SID. Returned to normal IFR code.
