Narrative:

The provided checklists, both quick reference and OM pages, do not reflect the current software in some aircraft. Aircraft FMS system cannot be operated using the provided checklists. Even the first item, if identify page is not displayed, menu key press is wrong. Further, following the checklist does not give a proper position initialization, resulting in the aircraft departing without the required position init. No reference is made to the requirement to select align on the IRS control panel to bring up the prompt boxes into which to load the aircraft gate or airport coordinates, resulting in aircraft being dispatched without compliance with the requirement to verify accurate navigation information.
