Narrative:
I was holding in position at the end of runway 9L and announced I was ready to go. Shortly after, I heard 'taxi into position and hold.' I repeated taxi into position and hold 082 degrees runway 9L. I then proceeded towards the runway. Reported I was on runway 9L. Looking to my 9 O'clock position around the commercial airliner, I was able to see the aircraft on final. I reported my position on runway 9L and quickly executed a 180 degree and returned to my original position. Just as I began to execute the turn the tower was advocating, I quickly get off the runway. Note: (I never got near to centerline or the actual runway edge.) I believe that the tower was very busy releasing aircraft without tail numbers.

Title: WHILE GOING INTO POS AND HOLD AS INSTRUCTED, ON RWY 9L AT FLL, A PA32 PLT SEES AN AIRLINER ABOUT TO LAND ON THE SAME RWY AND IMMEDIATELY TAXIES CLR.
Narrative: I WAS HOLDING IN POS AT THE END OF RWY 9L AND ANNOUNCED I WAS READY TO GO. SHORTLY AFTER, I HEARD 'TAXI INTO POS AND HOLD.' I REPEATED TAXI INTO POS AND HOLD 082 DEGS RWY 9L. I THEN PROCEEDED TOWARDS THE RWY. RPTED I WAS ON RWY 9L. LOOKING TO MY 9 O'CLOCK POS AROUND THE COMMERCIAL AIRLINER, I WAS ABLE TO SEE THE ACFT ON FINAL. I RPTED MY POS ON RWY 9L AND QUICKLY EXECUTED A 180 DEG AND RETURNED TO MY ORIGINAL POS. JUST AS I BEGAN TO EXECUTE THE TURN THE TWR WAS ADVOCATING, I QUICKLY GET OFF THE RWY. NOTE: (I NEVER GOT NEAR TO CTRLINE OR THE ACTUAL RWY EDGE.) I BELIEVE THAT THE TWR WAS VERY BUSY RELEASING ACFT WITHOUT TAIL NUMBERS.
