Narrative:
We were instructed by ground control to taxi across runway 17R at ej. We were to hold between the 2 runways awaiting the edct. Ground control cleared us to cross runway 17R at ej. As I looked toward short final, I noticed an S80 side-stepping to runway 17R. The first officer again asked the ground controller if we were cleared to cross runway 17R at ej and the controller repeated 'cleared to cross at ej.' we decided to hold short and had an S80 land on runway 17R as we held short at ej. The controller then said 'thanks' and cleared us to cross as the S80 rolled out.

Narrative: WE WERE INSTRUCTED BY GND CTL TO TAXI ACROSS RWY 17R AT EJ. WE WERE TO HOLD BTWN THE 2 RWYS AWAITING THE EDCT. GND CTL CLRED US TO CROSS RWY 17R AT EJ. AS I LOOKED TOWARD SHORT FINAL, I NOTICED AN S80 SIDE-STEPPING TO RWY 17R. THE FO AGAIN ASKED THE GND CTLR IF WE WERE CLRED TO CROSS RWY 17R AT EJ AND THE CTLR REPEATED 'CLRED TO CROSS AT EJ.' WE DECIDED TO HOLD SHORT AND HAD AN S80 LAND ON RWY 17R AS WE HELD SHORT AT EJ. THE CTLR THEN SAID 'THANKS' AND CLRED US TO CROSS AS THE S80 ROLLED OUT.
