Narrative:

Prior to pushback from gate at lfpg, push crew was not available at push time. After making contact with tug driver, I released the parking brake and ACARS correctly sent an 'out' time of XA16, which was a min late. During the push, we received a message to 'call load planning.' the first officer went off of ATC frequency to contact load planning. I remained on flight interphone with the pushback crew per SOP. I later found out that the station had asked the first officer for permission to alter the ACARS 'out' time to give the flight an 'on-time' departure. The first officer, without my permission, did so. I was furious, and said that doing so was falsification of official flight records. She started yelling at me and said, 'it is only 1 min! Everyone does it! We don't want the station mad at us!' the additional crew member jumped in, stating, 'everybody lies, some capts even pull circuit breakers to fool the system.' (pulling circuit breakers, other than in accordance with a specific procedure, or as directed by air carrier maintenance, is strictly prohibited.) I do not intend to compromise safety nor do I intend to alter flight records. Apparently I am in the minority.

Title: FLT CREW OF B777 HAVE CONFLICT OVER COMPANY POLICY AND PROCS REGARDING DEP TIMES AND COMPANY RECORDS.

Narrative: PRIOR TO PUSHBACK FROM GATE AT LFPG, PUSH CREW WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT PUSH TIME. AFTER MAKING CONTACT WITH TUG DRIVER, I RELEASED THE PARKING BRAKE AND ACARS CORRECTLY SENT AN 'OUT' TIME OF XA16, WHICH WAS A MIN LATE. DURING THE PUSH, WE RECEIVED A MESSAGE TO 'CALL LOAD PLANNING.' THE FO WENT OFF OF ATC FREQ TO CONTACT LOAD PLANNING. I REMAINED ON FLT INTERPHONE WITH THE PUSHBACK CREW PER SOP. I LATER FOUND OUT THAT THE STATION HAD ASKED THE FO FOR PERMISSION TO ALTER THE ACARS 'OUT' TIME TO GIVE THE FLT AN 'ON-TIME' DEP. THE FO, WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, DID SO. I WAS FURIOUS, AND SAID THAT DOING SO WAS FALSIFICATION OF OFFICIAL FLT RECORDS. SHE STARTED YELLING AT ME AND SAID, 'IT IS ONLY 1 MIN! EVERYONE DOES IT! WE DON'T WANT THE STATION MAD AT US!' THE ADDITIONAL CREW MEMBER JUMPED IN, STATING, 'EVERYBODY LIES, SOME CAPTS EVEN PULL CIRCUIT BREAKERS TO FOOL THE SYS.' (PULLING CIRCUIT BREAKERS, OTHER THAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH A SPECIFIC PROC, OR AS DIRECTED BY ACR MAINT, IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.) I DO NOT INTEND TO COMPROMISE SAFETY NOR DO I INTEND TO ALTER FLT RECORDS. APPARENTLY I AM IN THE MINORITY.
