Narrative:

I was the inspector on engine cfm 56-3, when the engine came through the ZZZ engine shop. I do not remember this particular engine, since we have so many through the shop. According to a copy of the maintenance records regarding engine buildups, I was the inspector. As a normal procedure I look the engine over on receipt and have never seen a duct loose from engine case.

Narrative: I WAS THE INSPECTOR ON ENG CFM 56-3, WHEN THE ENG CAME THROUGH THE ZZZ ENG SHOP. I DO NOT REMEMBER THIS PARTICULAR ENG, SINCE WE HAVE SO MANY THROUGH THE SHOP. ACCORDING TO A COPY OF THE MAINT RECORDS REGARDING ENG BUILDUPS, I WAS THE INSPECTOR. AS A NORMAL PROC I LOOK THE ENG OVER ON RECEIPT AND HAVE NEVER SEEN A DUCT LOOSE FROM ENG CASE.
