Narrative:

Light came on just after takeoff from runway 4. Captain did the 'red box' and declared an emergency requesting an immediate return for landing. I was flying and he was on the phone to passenger and cabin crew as I put us on a right base for runway 26L. We were able to get the before landing checklist completed in plenty of time to make the visual approach and normal landing. Time from liftoff to touchdown was 6 mins. Clear of the runway we were visually inspected by crash fire rescue equipment and then taxied to the gate.
