Narrative:

Captain called to let me know he had a thrust reverser placarded inoperative. Log records listed a high pressure bleed air valve 36-03, but no 78-1. After looking in MEL book you have to placard associated thrust reverser in accordance with MEL 78-01. After learning of this I called for an A300 technician.

Narrative: CAPT CALLED TO LET ME KNOW HE HAD A THRUST REVERSER PLACARDED INOP. LOG RECORDS LISTED A HIGH PRESSURE BLEED AIR VALVE 36-03, BUT NO 78-1. AFTER LOOKING IN MEL BOOK YOU HAVE TO PLACARD ASSOCIATED THRUST REVERSER IN ACCORDANCE WITH MEL 78-01. AFTER LEARNING OF THIS I CALLED FOR AN A300 TECHNICIAN.
