Narrative:

During a VFR flight from lopez island (S31) to prescott, az, (prc), stopped at klamath falls (lmt) for fuel. Lost flight following southeast of klamath and was navigating using avidyne EF5000 screen on plane. Line for restr airspace R-4813 obscured by carson MOA line on screen. Saw problem within a few mi and turned west and then south to stay out of airspace. Flew south and east around R-4813 and across R-4816S. Did not see R-4816S at all on avidyne screen. Picked up flight following from ATC and was told I had entered restr airspace twice. Pulled out paper charts and discovered error. I will be checking on another trip to see if airspace identify boundary is shown on avidyne (too late to tell on trip). I should have picked up flight following from military controllers before entering what I thought to be MOA. Paper charts much clrer and show frequencys where avidyne screen does not.

Title: UNAUTH UNCOORD PENETRATION OF R-4816S BY A CIRRUS SR22 PVT PLT USING HIS GPS NAV SYS 70 NM ENE OF RNO, NV.

Narrative: DURING A VFR FLT FROM LOPEZ ISLAND (S31) TO PRESCOTT, AZ, (PRC), STOPPED AT KLAMATH FALLS (LMT) FOR FUEL. LOST FLT FOLLOWING SE OF KLAMATH AND WAS NAVING USING AVIDYNE EF5000 SCREEN ON PLANE. LINE FOR RESTR AIRSPACE R-4813 OBSCURED BY CARSON MOA LINE ON SCREEN. SAW PROB WITHIN A FEW MI AND TURNED W AND THEN S TO STAY OUT OF AIRSPACE. FLEW S AND E AROUND R-4813 AND ACROSS R-4816S. DID NOT SEE R-4816S AT ALL ON AVIDYNE SCREEN. PICKED UP FLT FOLLOWING FROM ATC AND WAS TOLD I HAD ENTERED RESTR AIRSPACE TWICE. PULLED OUT PAPER CHARTS AND DISCOVERED ERROR. I WILL BE CHKING ON ANOTHER TRIP TO SEE IF AIRSPACE IDENT BOUNDARY IS SHOWN ON AVIDYNE (TOO LATE TO TELL ON TRIP). I SHOULD HAVE PICKED UP FLT FOLLOWING FROM MIL CTLRS BEFORE ENTERING WHAT I THOUGHT TO BE MOA. PAPER CHARTS MUCH CLRER AND SHOW FREQS WHERE AVIDYNE SCREEN DOES NOT.
