Narrative:

Two tags (for attachment to vendor certificates) had been incorrectly printed. The vendor certificate had information for 700 series aircraft and the tags were printed for 300/500 series aircraft, nose wheels. One of the nose wheels was mismatched on aircraft X and had already left ZZZ1. The other had been mis-matched and put onto aircraft Y, but did not leave the ground at ZZZ1 before it was corrected. Aircraft X flew to ZZZ2 and both nose wheels were changed. The problem was discovered when I was folding the 'spares' (the tag and vendor certs that come in from various stations). I called ZZZ1 and they in turn called maintenance control to have the nose wheels changed.
