Narrative:

Didn't get frequency change. We ended up getting it from a company aircraft ahead of us. No chase planes were called. No other problems. Could possibly solve problem by having ATC call us a little sooner before reaching edge of radio range? Neither ATC nor the company said there would be any problem.
