Narrative:

Aircraft had a right horizontal stabilizer-to-body sliding seal broken. I was advised by maintenance control that 'no maintenance action' was required by me. The cdl 55-10-1 also indicates no maintenance action is required. On mar/fri/03 at XA00 hours, day line lead told me that maintenance had called and said aircraft was OTS, because I didn't remove the damaged seal, and that there was additional aircraft damage. I feel that I followed the cdl, and I am unsure if I missed some type of maintenance action.
