Narrative:

We landed on runway 6L at lax and exited at taxiway west to hold short of runway 6R for departing traffic. The traffic was a B747 that rotated in front of us. The tower said to taxi across runway 6R and we told them we needed a min. Tower said hold short, it will be a while. The tower told us to cross and, on the other side and clear of the runway, we were given a number to call. The reason we said we needed a min was the B747 rotated in front of us, and his wake shook our plane and blew water on the left front and captain's side windows. There was no problem for us to wait there, another aircraft landed and taxied behind us and got off at another taxiway. When we got to the FBO, I called and talked to the tower and explained everything. I explained the weight and thrust differences and what could have happened to us. (Possible flipping over.)
