Misread slide due date by not physically removing due date card from slot and unfolding for clear due date reading (card window is clear). Supplemental acn 572490:I was informed that the slide on the left #2 door was overdue for overhaul. I accomplished this check according to the 2401 card and found no discrepancies. The slide was changed in ZZZ on jan/mon/03.

Narrative: MISREAD SLIDE DUE DATE BY NOT PHYSICALLY REMOVING DUE DATE CARD FROM SLOT AND UNFOLDING FOR CLR DUE DATE READING (CARD WINDOW IS CLR). SUPPLEMENTAL ACN 572490:I WAS INFORMED THAT THE SLIDE ON THE L #2 DOOR WAS OVERDUE FOR OVERHAUL. I ACCOMPLISHED THIS CHK ACCORDING TO THE 2401 CARD AND FOUND NO DISCREPANCIES. THE SLIDE WAS CHANGED IN ZZZ ON JAN/MON/03.
