Narrative:

On climb out, we got left engine duct overheat light on about FL200, stopped climb with ATC. Declared emergency and worked the irr checklist and returned to sfo. Landed, taxied to gate. Maintenance found engine anti-ice clamp off. While returning to sfo, tried to get patch to maintenance controller with sfo ramp controller. They were unable to patch us through. Got hold of commercial radio operator for patch to dispatch and told them we were returning to sfo.

Narrative: ON CLBOUT, WE GOT L ENG DUCT OVERHEAT LIGHT ON ABOUT FL200, STOPPED CLB WITH ATC. DECLARED EMER AND WORKED THE IRR CHKLIST AND RETURNED TO SFO. LANDED, TAXIED TO GATE. GOT HOLD OF COMMERCIAL RADIO OPERATOR FOR PATCH TO DISPATCH AND TOLD THEM WE WERE RETURNING TO SFO.
