Narrative:
During cruise at FL220 the center tank fuel quantity read 1900 pounds. I decided to burn the fuel down to 1000-1200 pounds. Shortly after turning the center pumps on, we encountered some moderate chop and I became distraction by radio calls, sitting the flight attendants down, etc, and I inadvertently burned the center tank fuel below 1000 pounds.
