Narrative:

Departed ads, tx. After talking to ads ground and departure, I told departure that I wanted flight following to lake whitney state park (F50). I was given a squawk code. When airborne, I was told to contact dfw departure. After flying for several mins, I was handed to center and crossed over downtown dallas in class B airspace. I was warned of antenna towers in cedar hill area. Once I was clear of class B airspace, center dropped my flight following by telling me 'flight following terminated, squawk 1200 VFR, have a good day.' I was never handed over to another center nor told to contact waco approach, so I continued flight for several mins until I was descending from 2500 ft about 2 mi north of F50, my intended landing location. At this time, I was making calls on 122.9 (the CTAF for F50) for TA's. At this time I was intercepted by a military F16 jet. I immediately went to 121.5 and tried to make contact with said military aircraft and did make contact. I was told to turn east immediately for which I followed all directions, then told to contact waco approach and given a squawk code and told to land at waco (act) for questioning. Contributing factors: I was aware of prohibited P49 and its tfr, just did not realize that lake whitney state park (F50) was inside this tfr and my original plans were to use flight following to stay out of trouble. I had crossed into the tfr for about 2 mi. I was under the assumption that flight following would have warned me of my flight into the tfr. The main contributing factor would be my poor preflight planning and poor communication with center. Corrective actions: complete preflight planning of NOTAMS and all necessary information of further flts.

Title: C140 PLT ENTERED P49 AND WAS INTERCEPTED BY A MIL F16.

Narrative: DEPARTED ADS, TX. AFTER TALKING TO ADS GND AND DEP, I TOLD DEP THAT I WANTED FLT FOLLOWING TO LAKE WHITNEY STATE PARK (F50). I WAS GIVEN A SQUAWK CODE. WHEN AIRBORNE, I WAS TOLD TO CONTACT DFW DEP. AFTER FLYING FOR SEVERAL MINS, I WAS HANDED TO CTR AND CROSSED OVER DOWNTOWN DALLAS IN CLASS B AIRSPACE. I WAS WARNED OF ANTENNA TWRS IN CEDAR HILL AREA. ONCE I WAS CLR OF CLASS B AIRSPACE, CTR DROPPED MY FLT FOLLOWING BY TELLING ME 'FLT FOLLOWING TERMINATED, SQUAWK 1200 VFR, HAVE A GOOD DAY.' I WAS NEVER HANDED OVER TO ANOTHER CTR NOR TOLD TO CONTACT WACO APCH, SO I CONTINUED FLT FOR SEVERAL MINS UNTIL I WAS DSNDING FROM 2500 FT ABOUT 2 MI N OF F50, MY INTENDED LNDG LOCATION. AT THIS TIME, I WAS MAKING CALLS ON 122.9 (THE CTAF FOR F50) FOR TA'S. AT THIS TIME I WAS INTERCEPTED BY A MIL F16 JET. I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO 121.5 AND TRIED TO MAKE CONTACT WITH SAID MIL ACFT AND DID MAKE CONTACT. I WAS TOLD TO TURN E IMMEDIATELY FOR WHICH I FOLLOWED ALL DIRECTIONS, THEN TOLD TO CONTACT WACO APCH AND GIVEN A SQUAWK CODE AND TOLD TO LAND AT WACO (ACT) FOR QUESTIONING. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: I WAS AWARE OF PROHIBITED P49 AND ITS TFR, JUST DID NOT REALIZE THAT LAKE WHITNEY STATE PARK (F50) WAS INSIDE THIS TFR AND MY ORIGINAL PLANS WERE TO USE FLT FOLLOWING TO STAY OUT OF TROUBLE. I HAD CROSSED INTO THE TFR FOR ABOUT 2 MI. I WAS UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THAT FLT FOLLOWING WOULD HAVE WARNED ME OF MY FLT INTO THE TFR. THE MAIN CONTRIBUTING FACTOR WOULD BE MY POOR PREFLT PLANNING AND POOR COM WITH CTR. CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: COMPLETE PREFLT PLANNING OF NOTAMS AND ALL NECESSARY INFO OF FURTHER FLTS.
