Narrative:

Took off with 1700 pounds in center tanks, tanks off. Approximately 10 mins after takeoff, turned ctrs on and asked first officer to help monitor. Got busy and didn't turn off center tanks until 680 pounds. Bled down to 430 pounds. Rest of flight uneventful. FAA inspector on jumpseat. He had no comments after landing.
