Narrative:

On descent into ord for approach, we got the red bld 2 leak annunciator on EICAS with accompanying master warning indicating an engine bleed leak in-flight. We complied with the epc and began the 3 min timing after completing the required steps. As the blue bld 2 closed annunciator was on we continued with both engines running for a normal approach and landing at chicago. No emergency was declared and epc and aom procedures for this function were complied with.

Title: AN RJ145 FLC OVERCOMES THE MALFUNCTIONING OF THEIR HIGH PRESSURE BLEED VALVE AS ANNUNCIATED ON THEIR EICAS SYS DURING APCH TO ORD, IL.

Narrative: ON DSCNT INTO ORD FOR APCH, WE GOT THE RED BLD 2 LEAK ANNUNCIATOR ON EICAS WITH ACCOMPANYING MASTER WARNING INDICATING AN ENG BLEED LEAK INFLT. WE COMPLIED WITH THE EPC AND BEGAN THE 3 MIN TIMING AFTER COMPLETING THE REQUIRED STEPS. AS THE BLUE BLD 2 CLOSED ANNUNCIATOR WAS ON WE CONTINUED WITH BOTH ENGS RUNNING FOR A NORMAL APCH AND LNDG AT CHICAGO. NO EMER WAS DECLARED AND EPC AND AOM PROCS FOR THIS FUNCTION WERE COMPLIED WITH.
