Narrative:

I was returning to chino on a local flight. The visibility was approximately 3 mi. I was on a wbound heading at 3000 ft MSL when I came on an er-coupe also headed on a westerly heading at the same approximately altitude. I passed to its right and lower by pushing down and to the right to avoid the er-coupe, estimate 50 ft to his right and 10-20 ft below at closest point the er-coupe was difficult to see being a silver color against the somewhat hazy environment present that day.
