Narrative:

Cleared to taxi to runway 30L via txwys Q, C, a. While taxiing out on taxiway C I noticed a B757 that had landed on runway 30R taxiing on runway 22. We were paralleling each other and I assumed he would turn into the ramp area behind me. Approaching taxiway a, ground told us to switch to 121.9. Then I heard someone say stop. By then I was entering taxiway a, I looked right and saw the B757, stopped. I continued on taxiway a. In retrospect, I missed the instruction to switch to the other ground control and thought I was cleared all the way to runway 30L. Suggest the frequency switch point be placed farther north and small signs be placed along the taxiway.

Title: A POSSIBLE TXWY INCURSION AND POTENTIAL CONFLICT WITH ANOTHER ACR ACFT OCCURS WHEN A TAXIING ACR B737-300 IS NOT ON THE S GND CTL FREQ APCHING THE INTXN OF TXWYS C AND A AT MSP, MN.

Narrative: CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 30L VIA TXWYS Q, C, A. WHILE TAXIING OUT ON TXWY C I NOTICED A B757 THAT HAD LANDED ON RWY 30R TAXIING ON RWY 22. WE WERE PARALLELING EACH OTHER AND I ASSUMED HE WOULD TURN INTO THE RAMP AREA BEHIND ME. APCHING TXWY A, GND TOLD US TO SWITCH TO 121.9. THEN I HEARD SOMEONE SAY STOP. BY THEN I WAS ENTERING TXWY A, I LOOKED R AND SAW THE B757, STOPPED. I CONTINUED ON TXWY A. IN RETROSPECT, I MISSED THE INSTRUCTION TO SWITCH TO THE OTHER GND CTL AND THOUGHT I WAS CLRED ALL THE WAY TO RWY 30L. SUGGEST THE FREQ SWITCH POINT BE PLACED FARTHER N AND SMALL SIGNS BE PLACED ALONG THE TXWY.
