Narrative:
After landing on runway 30, lgb tower advised us to turn onto taxiway K. I turned onto runway 16R by mistake. As I left runway 30, I noticed my mistake and thought I could still make taxiway K. I quickly determined this was not the best solution and came to a complete stop. Lgb tower sent 1 aircraft around and we taxied clear of all runways per his instructions. Supplemental information from acn 561902: the PF misinterped taxiway K and found himself on an intersecting runway. Initially he started turning around, but when it was decided between us that we could not get to taxiway K without re-entering the runway, we just held position and called tower.

Title: AN LTT CREW, AFTER LNDG AT LGB, TURNED ONTO AN ACTIVE RWY, REQUIRING A TWR INITIATED GAR TO TFC ON FINAL.
Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 30, LGB TWR ADVISED US TO TURN ONTO TXWY K. I TURNED ONTO RWY 16R BY MISTAKE. AS I LEFT RWY 30, I NOTICED MY MISTAKE AND THOUGHT I COULD STILL MAKE TXWY K. I QUICKLY DETERMINED THIS WAS NOT THE BEST SOLUTION AND CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. LGB TWR SENT 1 ACFT AROUND AND WE TAXIED CLR OF ALL RWYS PER HIS INSTRUCTIONS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 561902: THE PF MISINTERPED TXWY K AND FOUND HIMSELF ON AN INTERSECTING RWY. INITIALLY HE STARTED TURNING AROUND, BUT WHEN IT WAS DECIDED BTWN US THAT WE COULD NOT GET TO TXWY K WITHOUT RE-ENTERING THE RWY, WE JUST HELD POS AND CALLED TWR.
