Narrative:
Flap fail. On descent into cha, captain called for flaps 9 degrees. Upon selecting flaps, we received a flap fail caution on EICAS. Complied with flap fail procedure in aom. Crash fire rescue equipment was notified as a precaution. No flaps landing was made after which we taxied to the gate.

Narrative: FLAP FAIL. ON DSCNT INTO CHA, CAPT CALLED FOR FLAPS 9 DEGS. UPON SELECTING FLAPS, WE RECEIVED A FLAP FAIL CAUTION ON EICAS. COMPLIED WITH FLAP FAIL PROC IN AOM. CFR WAS NOTIFIED AS A PRECAUTION. NO FLAPS LNDG WAS MADE AFTER WHICH WE TAXIED TO THE GATE.
