Narrative:
Working on aircraft X on aug/sat/02, I worked the general items of the layover while my co-worker opened both engines of the aircraft. I helped my co-worker perform the start/stability bleed valve inspection on both engines, and I svced and closed #2 engine and verified that engine #1 my co-worker's engine, was closed. I was surprised to hear that the core cowl came open during flight.
