Narrative:

At cdg, degaulle ground cleared us to taxi to runway 26L without restr. As we were crossing runway 26R (which was closed for construction), we were advised that we did not have clearance. Unknown to us, they were sequencing trucks between the airplanes or vice versa. They were using french to speak to the airplanes in front and behind us. When they do not use english to speak to all of the airplanes, it makes it more difficult and unsafe to operate.
