Narrative:

A suspected lateral control oscillation event was reported by the captain of flight XXX upon arrival to ZZZ. Information given by the captain was very unclr and he actually stated that he was unsure if he had an actual vibration or not because he had never had one before. He also stated that he thought nothing of it due to the fact that he deemed it pretty much normal. Turns out it had been brought to his attention by a flight attendant that was working in the cabin. Logbook was documented and I made the determination that an actual lateral control oscillation event had not occurred. The amm inspection was accomplished for airframe vibration, and the aircraft returned to service.
