Narrative:
While being vectored for approach to runway 26R at atl, another aircraft was being vectored for approach to the parallel runway. 2 different aircraft were reported and we had visual contact with one of them. The TCASII gave us a reduce descent warning, then a climb command. We followed the TCASII instructions until 'clear of conflict' was heard. We had visual contact with the airport and were cleared for a visual approach. We were too high for the approach and requested vectors back around for the approach. We returned and made a normal landing. We believe that the TCASII was looking at the intercept of the aircraft approaching the parallel runway, but we were also aware that there was a second aircraft we never got a visual with.

Title: B737-300 FLC OBTAINED VECTORS FOR ANOTHER VISUAL APCH AFTER RESPONDING TO A TCASII RA FROM ANOTHER ACFT CONVERGING FOR AN APCH TO THE PARALLEL RWY AND ANOTHER ACFT NOT SIGHTED.
Narrative: WHILE BEING VECTORED FOR APCH TO RWY 26R AT ATL, ANOTHER ACFT WAS BEING VECTORED FOR APCH TO THE PARALLEL RWY. 2 DIFFERENT ACFT WERE RPTED AND WE HAD VISUAL CONTACT WITH ONE OF THEM. THE TCASII GAVE US A REDUCE DSCNT WARNING, THEN A CLB COMMAND. WE FOLLOWED THE TCASII INSTRUCTIONS UNTIL 'CLR OF CONFLICT' WAS HEARD. WE HAD VISUAL CONTACT WITH THE ARPT AND WERE CLRED FOR A VISUAL APCH. WE WERE TOO HIGH FOR THE APCH AND REQUESTED VECTORS BACK AROUND FOR THE APCH. WE RETURNED AND MADE A NORMAL LNDG. WE BELIEVE THAT THE TCASII WAS LOOKING AT THE INTERCEPT OF THE ACFT APCHING THE PARALLEL RWY, BUT WE WERE ALSO AWARE THAT THERE WAS A SECOND ACFT WE NEVER GOT A VISUAL WITH.
