Narrative:

While flying nebound VFR from roanoke area to connecticut, following victor 39, I tried contacting baltimore. I was advised to call dulles approach, which I did, and was told to standby. Having called flight service the day before, I was advised to stay out of enhanced class B and the P-40 area. I was staying east of V39 to avoid P-40 as the briefer did not advise that P-40 had been expanded. When ATC finally called back, enough time had expired that I was already inside the tfr. When ATC explained the situation and told me to make heading change to 120 degrees, I immediately responded to exit the area.
