Narrative:

While going through ZJX airspace, I encountered a black cloud which I felt was too ominous for a PA28-181. I tried to contact center, but he was busy literally yelling at another pilot and wouldn't answer. I could tell he was having a bad day by his voice. I deviated slightly to the west and he came back after a few mins and yelled at me that I was in tpa's airspace and I got a severe tongue lashing. He then passed me off to the next controller. I had checked WX previously and it didn't show anything too serious. However, I had checked it in miami, and now I was north of tampa and I didn't know what had cropped up.
