Narrative:

Landed runway 35 olympia. I always turn off runway 26 and taxi to parking. Tower told me to turn off taxiway D and instead I turned off runway 26. Plane was waiting for me to pass runway 26 to take off runway 26. After turning off onto runway 26, I continued onto taxiway F and turned off there as directed. Minimal delay to aircraft waiting on runway 26 to take off. It would have been helpful if tower had said why he wanted me to continue to end of runway 35 (where taxiway D is located) or had me land long.

Narrative: LANDED RWY 35 OLYMPIA. I ALWAYS TURN OFF RWY 26 AND TAXI TO PARKING. TWR TOLD ME TO TURN OFF TXWY D AND INSTEAD I TURNED OFF RWY 26.
