Narrative:

While working C90 sectors 2 and 3 combined (mdw southwest arrs and mdw south and west departures plus all west satellite arrs and departures), I had climbed air carrier X to 6000 ft in my departure corridor. The altitude used to tunnel the O'hare arrs from the southwest. As I was busy coordinating several mdw sbounds with the O'hare south departure controller, when I went back to check air carrier X's progress, I noticed another data block close to my aircraft. The O'hare west departure controller had let the air carrier Y slide into my airspace without coordination. I turned the air carrier X away from the air carrier Y. The air carrier X crew said they had air carrier Y insight. And applied visual separation. The aircraft came apart and continued on without further incident.

Title: DEP CTL ERRED WHEN 1 SECTOR CTLR ALLOWED DO-328 TO SLIDE INTO ANOTHER CTLR'S AIRSPACE WITHOUT COORD. THE RPTING, SECOND CTLR, TURNED HIS ACFT (B737) AWAY FROM THE INTRUDING DO-328.

Narrative: WHILE WORKING C90 SECTORS 2 AND 3 COMBINED (MDW SW ARRS AND MDW S AND W DEPS PLUS ALL W SATELLITE ARRS AND DEPS), I HAD CLBED ACR X TO 6000 FT IN MY DEP CORRIDOR. THE ALT USED TO TUNNEL THE O'HARE ARRS FROM THE SW. AS I WAS BUSY COORDINATING SEVERAL MDW SBOUNDS WITH THE O'HARE S DEP CTLR, WHEN I WENT BACK TO CHK ACR X'S PROGRESS, I NOTICED ANOTHER DATA BLOCK CLOSE TO MY ACFT. THE O'HARE W DEP CTLR HAD LET THE ACR Y SLIDE INTO MY AIRSPACE WITHOUT COORD. I TURNED THE ACR X AWAY FROM THE ACR Y. THE ACR X CREW SAID THEY HAD ACR Y INSIGHT. AND APPLIED VISUAL SEPARATION. THE ACFT CAME APART AND CONTINUED ON WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
