Narrative:

After installing fuel pump new placards on aircraft, it was discovered the next afternoon that 1 boost pump panel blew off the aircraft in-flight. The panels were checked several times before I was satisfied that it was installed. Secured panel found missing on preflight of flight on or before XA30 hours.

Title: A B737-300 HAD AN UNDERWING BOOST PUMP COVER PANEL DEPART THE ACFT INFLT ON FIRST TRIP AFTER FUEL PUMP PLACARD CHANGE ORDER ACCOMPLISHED.

Narrative: AFTER INSTALLING FUEL PUMP NEW PLACARDS ON ACFT, IT WAS DISCOVERED THE NEXT AFTERNOON THAT 1 BOOST PUMP PANEL BLEW OFF THE ACFT INFLT. THE PANELS WERE CHKED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE I WAS SATISFIED THAT IT WAS INSTALLED. SECURED PANEL FOUND MISSING ON PREFLT OF FLT ON OR BEFORE XA30 HRS.
