Narrative:
My student and I were shooting practice ILS's into lgb runway 30. Lgb tower instructed us to turn sbound south of runway 27L, and then fly sbound on our missed approach. My student and I became distraction in the cockpit and did not turn sbound until we were north of runway 27L.
