Narrative:

At push time, I found out that a 'selectee' had a knife confiscated from him at the gate area. He was allowed to board my aircraft. After this, the screener decided to inform his supervisor, who came with a uniformed officer, the passenger was located and interrogated. The indication was that he was not a threat. He and his party were removed from my flight and we continued to mco.
