Narrative:

Misconduct of intoxicated passenger at hnl. Prior to pushback at hnl, the lead agent came to the flight deck and indicated that a mr X had gotten upset and swore during extra gate security screening but had relented and apologized prior to boarding and therefore was allowed to board. After boarding, mr X got upset again as my first officer went back to check him out. Upon return, he indicated that mr X was visibly intoxicated and we then agreed that we needed to pursue his removal. The agents notified the police and mr X was removed as I also filled out the form to verify my actions and reasoning. His bags had received the extra scan process, so we agreed that they would not have to be removed as well. We departed and had an uneventful flight.
