Narrative:
On visual approach to frg, tower requested I plan on visual to runway 1 and to enter pattern. Approaching airport on a left base, tower advised traffic on final (2 aircraft). My base leg was between aircraft 1 and 2. Tower advised immediate right turn to avoid traffic. This maneuver resulted in close flight path to #2 aircraft. Communications with tower were incomplete. Tower was very busy.
