Narrative:

While en route from ZZZ1 to ZZZ2, I navigated to avoid the P40 tfr (expanded to 8 NM radius by NOTAM) by using VOR area navigation. My eastbound route of flight followed a path defined by points of intersection of two VORTAC stations. I flew this route precisely, which should have resulted in no incursion into the expanded P40 tfr, passing to the north of the area. However, owing to inaccuracies in the VOR system (plus or minus 40 and greater under some circumstances), it is possible that a penetration occurred.

Title: CESSNA 310 PLT INADVERTENTLY ENTERED THE EXPANDED TFR OF PROHIBITED AIRSPACE 40 DUE TO THE INACCURACIES OF VOR NAVIGATION RADIALS.

Narrative: WHILE ENRTE FROM ZZZ1 TO ZZZ2, I NAVIGATED TO AVOID THE P40 TFR (EXPANDED TO 8 NM RADIUS BY NOTAM) BY USING VOR AREA NAVIGATION. MY EBOUND RTE OF FLT FOLLOWED A PATH DEFINED BY POINTS OF INTERSECTION OF TWO VORTAC STATIONS. I FLEW THIS RTE PRECISELY, WHICH SHOULD HAVE RESULTED IN NO INCURSION INTO THE EXPANDED P40 TFR, PASSING TO THE N OF THE AREA. HOWEVER, OWING TO INACCURACIES IN THE VOR SYSTEM (PLUS OR MINUS 40 AND GREATER UNDER SOME CIRCUMSTANCES), IT IS POSSIBLE THAT A PENETRATION OCCURRED.
