Narrative:

While performing a layover, aircraft was set up to take an updated data for the egpws. I performed the job in accordance with paperwork and entered all relevant information into logbook. A few days later I ws to perform the same operation to another aircraft. I then realized that the paperwork I used for the original aircraft was not the proper revision. I have contacted maintenance control and my lead -- nobody can figure out where the new revision is. We can't locate an engineer or away list to find out what the new revision incorporates. So I have installed the new data in accordance with the oil paperwork, not knowing if there is any additional items that might need to be done.
