Narrative:

All I was told is that we would be landing at jfk in 1 hour and 30 min due to a mechanical problem. If an evacuation was necessary, the signal would be stated. The landing was without incident. Cockpit computers seemed to be the problem. We eventually left jfk and continued to destination. We did not prepare for an emergency evacuation, although I prepared myself as I took my jumpseat.

Title: DURING A DIVERSION OF A B777 FOR APPARENT COMPUTER PROBS A FLT ATTENDANT PREPARES HERSELF MENTALLY FOR EVACUATION EVEN THOUGH ONE WAS NOT BRIEFED AS BEING PLANNED OR PROBABLE BY THE CAPT.

Narrative: ALL I WAS TOLD IS THAT WE WOULD BE LNDG AT JFK IN 1 HR AND 30 MIN DUE TO A MECHANICAL PROB. IF AN EVACUATION WAS NECESSARY, THE SIGNAL WOULD BE STATED. THE LNDG WAS WITHOUT INCIDENT. COCKPIT COMPUTERS SEEMED TO BE THE PROB. WE EVENTUALLY LEFT JFK AND CONTINUED TO DEST. WE DID NOT PREPARE FOR AN EMER EVACUATION, ALTHOUGH I PREPARED MYSELF AS I TOOK MY JUMPSEAT.
