Narrative:

Approach and landing made on runway 9R. While clearing the runway 9R runway, local tower cleared us to cross runway 9L, but hold short of taxiway M on taxiway south. In order to hold short of taxiway M, I could not cross the hold short lines for runway 9L on taxiway south. I noticed a citation jet taxiing west on taxiway M and a B757 in position on runway 9L. Tower cleared the B757 for takeoff and told us we needed to be on ground control. I queried tower and told him we were still on tower frequency because we were technically not clear of the runway. The B757 rotated just prior to taxiway south. I taxied across the hold short lines and contacted ground control and taxied to the gate without further incident.

Title: B757 DEPARTING ATL ROTATES JUST PRIOR TO TXWY INTXN WHERE AN E120 IS STOPPED AND NOT CLR OF THE RWY.

Narrative: APCH AND LNDG MADE ON RWY 9R. WHILE CLRING THE RWY 9R RWY, LCL TWR CLRED US TO CROSS RWY 9L, BUT HOLD SHORT OF TXWY M ON TXWY S. IN ORDER TO HOLD SHORT OF TXWY M, I COULD NOT CROSS THE HOLD SHORT LINES FOR RWY 9L ON TXWY S. I NOTICED A CITATION JET TAXIING W ON TXWY M AND A B757 IN POS ON RWY 9L. TWR CLRED THE B757 FOR TKOF AND TOLD US WE NEEDED TO BE ON GND CTL. I QUERIED TWR AND TOLD HIM WE WERE STILL ON TWR FREQ BECAUSE WE WERE TECHNICALLY NOT CLR OF THE RWY. THE B757 ROTATED JUST PRIOR TO TXWY S. I TAXIED ACROSS THE HOLD SHORT LINES AND CONTACTED GND CTL AND TAXIED TO THE GATE WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
