Narrative:
Aircraft #1 on final approach to runway 20 at sac. Aircraft #1 reported final on CTAF. Aircraft #2, not heard by either the PIC or passenger (licensed pilot), suddenly appeared high (about 20-30 ft), above aircraft #1, and descending. Aircraft #2 landed mid-field, aircraft #1 aborted landing. Aircraft #2 departed by the time #1 had completed landing. Clear night, no traffic reports were ever heard from aircraft #2.

Title: CESSNA 172 PLT TAKES EVASIVE ACTION DURING FINAL APCH TO A CLOSED TWR ARPT BY MAKING A GAR TO AVOID A PIPER NAVAJO JUST ABOVE HIM ON LNDG APCH. THE NAVAJO LANDED AND WAS NEVER HEARD ON UNICOM MAKING A POS RPT.
Narrative: ACFT #1 ON FINAL APCH TO RWY 20 AT SAC. ACFT #1 RPTED FINAL ON CTAF. ACFT #2, NOT HEARD BY EITHER THE PIC OR PAX (LICENSED PLT), SUDDENLY APPEARED HIGH (ABOUT 20-30 FT), ABOVE ACFT #1, AND DSNDING. ACFT #2 LANDED MID-FIELD, ACFT #1 ABORTED LNDG. ACFT #2 DEPARTED BY THE TIME #1 HAD COMPLETED LNDG. CLR NIGHT, NO TFC RPTS WERE EVER HEARD FROM ACFT #2.
