Narrative:

Early get-up. Previous multiple crew problems between captain and flight attendant crews. Inbound flight had suspicious passenger/package reported on 7 mi final, major confrontation between captain and flight attendants. I spent time on ground following up with gate personnel, flight attendants and flight manager -- no time to eat or rest. Another confrontation with outbound flight attendant over mechanical problem (lavatory broken). Pushing back told to start only engine #1 for late bags. Concerned about conflicts with captain. Didn't see bag cart, out of habit began start of engine #2. Aborted start as soon as fuel introduced, no N1 yet showing. Apologized to ground personnel, who indicated everyone was ok.
