Narrative:
On a return flight from ZZZ, us, to ZZZ1, us, I may have inadvertently penetrated the temporary prohibited area. As a consequence, I was intercepted by us fighters. The fighters stayed with me for a brief period time, during which I tried to contact them to no avail. After returning home, I reported the incident to ZZZ1, FSS. They advised me of VVV NOTAM abcd, which until that point I had been unaware of. Prior to my flight, I checked for VVV NOTAMS on the duats dos system, by following recommended procedure for obtaining VVV NOTAMS. NOTAM abcd did not show up. After returning home and being advised of the NOTAM, however, I was able to locate the NOTAM. Unfortunately, since this was not the recommended site for retrieving this data, I was not aware of it at the time of the incident. Also, the day prior to the flight, I requested area flight restrs from FSS for the area, and was told that there were none.

Title: SMA PLT HAD AIRSPACE INCURSION OF PROHIBITED AREA. HE WAS INTERCEPTED BY MILITARY FIGHTERS.
Narrative: ON A RETURN FLT FROM ZZZ, US, TO ZZZ1, US, I MAY HAVE INADVERTENTLY PENETRATED THE TEMPORARY PROHIBITED AREA. AS A CONSEQUENCE, I WAS INTERCEPTED BY US FIGHTERS. THE FIGHTERS STAYED WITH ME FOR A BRIEF PERIOD TIME, DURING WHICH I TRIED TO CONTACT THEM TO NO AVAIL. AFTER RETURNING HOME, I RPTED THE INCIDENT TO ZZZ1, FSS. THEY ADVISED ME OF VVV NOTAM ABCD, WHICH UNTIL THAT POINT I HAD BEEN UNAWARE OF. PRIOR TO MY FLT, I CHECKED FOR VVV NOTAMS ON THE DUATS DOS SYSTEM, BY FOLLOWING RECOMMENDED PROC FOR OBTAINING VVV NOTAMS. NOTAM ABCD DID NOT SHOW UP. AFTER RETURNING HOME AND BEING ADVISED OF THE NOTAM, HOWEVER, I WAS ABLE TO LOCATE THE NOTAM. UNFORTUNATELY, SINCE THIS WAS NOT THE RECOMMENDED SITE FOR RETRIEVING THIS DATA, I WAS NOT AWARE OF IT AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. ALSO, THE DAY PRIOR TO THE FLT, I REQUESTED AREA FLT RESTRS FROM FSS FOR THE AREA, AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WERE NONE.
